Lesson  
1. Student conferences - cont. from yesterday; you should have up to the CLIMAX and FALLING ACTION completed in order to be on track 
Homework-  Make sure you are on track with your Narrative Essay! Academic Vocab Test over words 7-15 is on Dec. 3rd 
Goal(s): Utilize writing strategies - tone, mood, figurative language, dialogue, descriptive adjectives  - to write a cohesive narrative essay. 

History
Warm Up - Take any questions you have on your study guide/go over any answers and check in the Study Guide
Lesson   
1. finish  "The Patroit"  
Homework - TEST has been moved back to next week!!!! The kids voted and they wanted in on Monday, Nov. 23rd, even though I am opposed to giving tests on Mondays. However, it was their choice. , Complete "Study Guide:Chps 5-7" now due Thursday, November 19th; Study for Chps 5-7 Unit Test on Monday, November 23rd
Goal(s): Understand the effects and causes of the American Revolution

Debate

1.  Work on "Fact vs Opinion" WS - due Monday
2. Begin "Mini Debate 2: Brainstorming" WS
Homework - No HW 
Goals(s): Understand how to utilize a fact to back-up an opinion.
