Goals: Students will read an informational article and cite textual evidence that supports a central topic. Students will use the evidence as supportive facts to write an informational coherent essay.

Homework - STUDY!!!Quiz Thursday on the Bill of Rights
Goals: Students will understand the foundation of our nation through analyzing and understanding the Bill of Rights. Students will be presented with a number of real life court cases and will need to determine how each amendment does or does not support the case. In the end...they're the judges and intrepting the Constitution is their JOB!

Goals: Students will justify how Gandhi has impacted the geography and lives of citizens throughout South Asia and the U.S. Students will also justify through an informational writing piece how Gandhi's actions have influenced their own lives.
